I used to think dog strollers were ridiculous before I joined YT and to be honest, I'd still be embarrassed to use one because I know the general population thinks they are ridiculous too. However, people here have said it can be easier to take several dogs out at once. And the points made above about a dog that tires easily. I don't think Thor has ever been truly tired in his life, so it's hard for me to imagine that.

If I take him somewhere crowded, I usually have him in a purse or a sling, and I've overheard people making nasty comments about that as well, so I guess you can't always worry too much about what strangers think. And he's under 4 lbs, so carrying him is not difficult.
