He looks good to me! I like the shorter cuts unless you can grow it and really keep up with it. If you grow it and don't spend the time, he will still look shaggy. Even with shorter hair they can look shaggy if you don't brush them. I tend to cut Maggie when she gets shaggy.
I think her long hair makes her look short and fat (what girl wants that!). I never let it get long enough to see if it would lay down flat and when it is starting to get longer it seems to grow OUT first. If I could get past that stage maybe it would grow long and lay down... If I had the $ I would get her washed and dried to see how longer flat hair looks (she won't let me dry her), but since it wouldn't stay that way more than a week there is no point to spend the $. She gets cut every 6-8 weeks, and that is what most of my album pics are...haircut days!
