one time - I dropped a hormone pill and literally scopped up all 3 of my dogs in one swoop and put them outside while I looked - it was right on the table in front of my nose - but you should have seen the expressions of the girls looking in at me - like "WHAT IS HER PROBLEM...and why are we LOCKED OUT" ?
The drop it command is great to know but the whole point is NOT TO HAVE ANY OF THIS STUFF OUT - a Pill is very hard for a dog to drop - they stick to the inside of their mouths and will disolve by the time you can get it out. | villette, Thank-you sooooo much for posting this important reminder to ALL of us.....Just last week I was taking my BCC and accidentally dropped it with Vivi at my feet. I didn't actually see her pick it up but I couldn't find it...I panicked when I read your past post about the woman who lost her dog to BCCs ....to make a long story short...I found the pill it had fallen in a drawer and I learned a very BIG lesson. It can happen in a split second. Keep all pills out of reach and DO NOT TAKE THEM WITH YOUR DOG AT YOUR FEET.
