I am soooo sorry for your loss, and especially sorry for Bonny. She is grieving her loss of her babies.....this could last several days or several weeks....my Hailee grieved for almost 6 weeks. There is medication that can be given to help dry up her milk, getting things back to normal, sooner rather than later. It would concern me why that second baby died, after starting out so well. It is important to know what is behind your two Yorkies....there may very well be lines that should not be crossed as genetic issues will surface....recessive genes will double up and become dominate, and you will have problems. You do not indicate if you had an autopsy on the babies so there is no definitive cause of death. It could have been a fluke, or it could be a result of something that will be repeated because of genetic patterns in the breeding pair's pedigrees, or it could be as simple as momma fell asleep on top of baby and smothered him. You will need to decide if you want to possibly put Bonny through this again. Is it so beneficial that it is worth it to you, to do so? That is your question.
