i talked to her breeder. she said she uses Revolution because it comes in smaller sizes and works. but the problem with me is that i live in the heart of Deer Tick country. Revolution only protects against the Wood Tick.
i also have K9 Advantix II at the house (used it on Kiva last year) but Hailey's so young i don't dare use it on her yet.
so i was wondering maybe use the Revolution for a few months and then start with the Advantix later.
what do you think? any thoughts? what did you use when yours were small pups? |
Dawn soap (Original Blue) will kill them instantly and wont hurt the baby however you will need to use a conditioner after because it does strip their oils. Start at the ears and the head on a barely wet body and work down, leave it for about a minute or two and it will kill them. Works amazingly well I promise.
