Bitter Apple Spray, or a new spray that's out there called Bitter Yuck (Bitter Apple is alcohol based and Bitter Yuck isn't so you can spray it even on bandages and sores)
The toy trick always worked with Tigger. Tried the spray and decided that the toy trick was working. So....what I'm saying is each dog is different and reacts to individual things differently. Best of Luck.
