I was in tears after reading the ingredients on this and opening up the bag and smelling the food. I felt like I was going to feed them crap.....but they have done great minus the eye boogies. I think it has helped, but I mix the dry with the canned. Did you get canned too? If not, it might help. They love it, probably because it's like junk food to them after the foods I was giving them. The vet did offer me a Hills rx food, but I chose this one. If she won't eat it, you should be able to take it back to the vet for a refund and maybe see about the Hills rx food.
