A little off topic but not much
I started feeding my 15 year old cat Hill'sŪ Science DietŪ Senior 11+ Age Defying dry food. She gets a can of Fancy Feast (bad I know but she won't eat any other brand) and a bowl of dry food each day.
I changed to the Hill's food because her proteins were high and vet wanted me to try a lower protein food. SHe was eating Nature's Variety Limited Ingredient.
Since starting the Science Diet food a month ago she is running around like a kitten. No kidding. Not sure what it is about the food but she loves it! SHe cleans her dry bowl everyday. Never did that on NV. They must put catnip (cat crack) in it or something.
So my point is to feed whatever food works for your pets.
I have not fed Science Diet Ideal Balance but I still keep it in my mind that it is there as an option if needed.
