He's not coughing alot - it's more of a hack like you or I would do in an attempt to clear out mucas. That's why the guifenison. We don't want to supress the cough when he's got so much mucas developing or it can get into his lungs and develop into pneumonia.
It does seem to be helping - much less congested this morning, and hear alot less sneezing last night! Fingers crossed that means this is working!
