This stuff takes time. Im pretty sure many folks here can give examples of living situation changes. Adding a new person in the mix makes it even stranger.
Our dogs used to act the same way when we visited my mothers house the first few times. Now they love it; its like an extension of their home. Like others have said, it's important not to enable them by feeding them anything, just to get them to eat. In most cases, dogs will eat when they get hungry enough. Just like humans, dogs need some time to get comfortable in a new place. Its a big change, especially when we down size a bit.
As far as your dog and your boyfriends relationship, that's going to take some time also, and is really going to take your boyfriend stepping up to the task.
I would not worry to much about it, and certainly don't worry about it too much in front of your yorkie. If he see's that your comfortable and confident in your new place, I'm pretty sure he will fall right in behind you.
