You are absolutely right about advocting for your child. I try so hard to teach my parents about the whole IEP process and inform them about services. Often times, parents are not well informed and teachers do not take the time to explain some of the IEP jargon. I love a parent who is able to challenge me on goals and give me real input. It is a team effort but not everyone sees it that way. I would be the same way if I had a child!!!! Bless you for being an amazing parent and teacher. ...sorry this was a bit off topic from the OP
