How many of you take your yorkie(s) to a dog park?
ZoE is soooo excited to go there. As soon as we turn at the gas station, she knows where we are going.
We've only had one negative experience there, when ZoE jumped on a bench to get away from dog that was snapping & growling at all the other dogs there in the park, and the snappy dog's owner, who was right by the bench ZoE jumped on, called her dog to her, then picked up her dog and held it face to face with ZoE (trying to make it be friends...
) and the dog snapped at ZoE. Well, I lost it a little (<--- and by "little" I mean one HELLUVA lot on that dog owner) and we haven't seen her or her dog since.
The majority of people there are really nice & friendly and have well-behaved dogs, and everyone picks up after their dog. We have a large dog area, a small dog area, two dog runs for personal off-leash training, and a water fountain for the dogs to splash in and cool off in the summer. There are also all around the dog park for walking, biking, rollerblading, etc.
