I would suggest that maybe you bring one person in at a time and give him a chance to meet a new person while on a leash and under your control. Most Yorkies love people but can be excitable under certain circumstances. Meeting someone one on one and giving him a chance to calm down may help to start to socialize him. Someone coming into the home that he is not used to can cause his protective instinct to go bananas. Give him a chance to calm down and meet the person sitting down but with you holding his leash. This may need to be repeated several times to get the reaction you want.
We do this when the kids (12 & 16) bring friends home. He is fine after slowly meeting people. Is this a good sign? I hope so.
