Mickey goes crazy jumping and barking when people enter our house or I am taking him out for a walk. They are gated off in a big section of the house.
If the people get in range he will nip them. He has not hurt anyone badly but he "nips" them in his excitement. Especially if they reach at him.
This has got to stop!
He got this protective issue at about a year and he is now 2.
He is so gentle and sweet with the inner family.
I think he thinks he needs to protect us.
How can I stop him from wanting to nip people he sees as a threat?????
I can't have him nipping people.
Luckily it has not been bad enough that we have been sued.
I did have to show his shot record to a neighbor.
I don't know what to do..............
