Hi Tracy,
I give my clan coconut oil, but only about once a week after baths and grooming. They love to lick it off a teaspoon, and sometimes I put a little on them topically if their skin looks dry. I do think it helps their skin and coat look better. I think too much makes their coats look oily, but that's just my opinion.
