Max did this for a while. The trainer I had for my boys at the time said it was not good behavior. He taught me to snap the leash lightly to let Max know that it was not appropriate. I then proceeded forward and Max eventually followed. Don't pick up Berkeley. When you do that you are reinforcing that "sit and not budge means mommy picks me up". He's getting exactly what he wants. |
