With each day, Winston is doing better, but only slightly better. Tomorrow, he is having another round of tests to rule out liver or kidney failure and tests to determine his blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Winston was placed on the dog food Urinary SO to help with his kidney stones. Two days after we switched his food, he began having these symptoms. While Urinary SO is great for helping with kidney stones, it is full or corn, corn glucose meal, and other products that can dramatically effect/decrease a dog's blood sugar levels. Several of Winston's symptoms fit hypoglycemia, something that commonly occurs in Yorkies. Hopefully, we will find a solution tomorrow and we can get him back to his old self. If the tests tomorrow do not solve our issues, we will be visiting the University of Georgia's Vet Hospital next week. Our vet has already put in a referral, so we are at the top of the list for an appointment.

Thanks for your concern!
