Did the vet specifically say to withhold food tonight? A soft diet, no more than one alfthe normal portion you give, should be just fine. Ig you feed exclusively kibble, you can soak it to soften.
I would do the antibiotics. But depending on what kind, it may be important that thy are given with food.
