with dogs that are going to require regular grooming appointments their entire life I recommend taking them to the groomer as soon as they have all their shots. Even if you aren't getting a full hair cut the first time, the experience is what counts. Find a groomer you are comfortable and start building a relationship with them. You want your puppy to enjoy going to the groomer and be good for the grooming process.
