Both of my dogs are in full coat but do wear clothes if we go out in the winter. Mignon will freeze and Rio although he has MUCH more body fat will shiver if it is chilly and he has been out for a long time. I think they enjoy wearing their clothes,especially their sweaters and I do try to buy and make only things that I think will be comfortable.
I think if you live anyplace that is cold you almost have to dress these little guys, they really do get chilly and my 2 like being outside and going for walks.
In the summer I do not dress them much although they do have a few tank tops and sun dresses
