I moved to a new house this past month. I have three dogs and they were not happy.. they kept jumping into my car and looking at me as if to say "lets go HOME mom!!" I did take them to the old house once and the biggest dog would not get back into the car!!! So I feel your pain.

I would advise two things:

Please don't feed turkey lunchmeat. It is not the best for your dog. If he knows he can get it he will not eat his food. If he is hungry enough he will eat his food. If you feel you have to "encourage eatting" try some boiled chicken on his kibble maybe.

second.. give it time. Give him plenty of hugs and lots of walks to learn the area. With a little time he will adjust and be fine.
