Oh man, this is scary for you, isn't it?
When you or anyone else opens the door, make sure before you do you locate your pup, and have her sit/stay as you go out the door. Praise and reward. Never let your pup go out the door first. Also, I keep a leash on Wosie at all times (except when she is crated) and that makes her a bit easier to control in these kind of situations, and easier to catch if she's running.
