I am not surprise at all, it happen to my son, we had all the rescue papers saying Taffy was spayed, well one day Taffy came down to the kitchen and she was playing with Harry I went out to the store and when i came back they were in a tie, since the papers said she was spayed I did not worry, silly me, I did call my son and told him, well 64 days later we had a litter of little mutts.. so I belive a rescue can make a mistake.
I hope she got help for this girl and by now she had her babies..
and she considers having both of them fixed. Taffy was spayed 3 months after the oooops litter.. and she is living a nice life with my son and one of her babies that he kept.
hugs,
