Hello!! Welcome to YT. I am sorry that your little pup is having a hard time. Here are a few things to consider.
1) Is the crate too big? He/she should only have enough room to turn around and lie down...only enough room for his/her body to fit. We had to get a divider and could not leave ANYTHING in there (even a towel or blanket would get peed on and buried).
2) Read this thread and others about potty training..it will help. You can find out how to use a schedule. etc. My Max is completely potty trained at 6 months.
3) If you are ready to give up on your puppy already, do you think that you are ready for the responsibility of taking care of him or her for a long time (Yorkies-15-16 yr. life expectancy) ?
