If you were getting her from a legitimate rescue, I'd say go for it. They would be able to tell you some of the health problems this pup has and at least you know they would be honest with you. Buying from a breeder is different, most will not be honest, they will tell you its purebred, they will tell you none of the dogs are ever sick, they only want your money, they don't even care if the dog has a good home. Don't rescue from anyone but a rescue, never rescue from a breeder, she'll just breed more dogs.
