JMO but I don't think its a safe place to ride a furbaby in a shopping cart seat. Too many accidents could occur when you look away, you wouldn't want to find their feet caught or them dangling by their leash or worse yet, get excited and try to jump out. They are safer in their carrier.

Just thought I'd mention it for safety reasons.

Those shopping cart covers are a great invention for human babies, wish they had those when I needed one, back when.
