Thank you everyone for all the kind things that have been said. The YT family is very supportive to each other and it shows on threads everyday. Thank you for all the positive comments and encouragement.
Showing Buster here in Indiana has been a lot of fun for me and I am glad that Kim is able to enjoy the same pleasure and excitement with him In Portland. I was so proud of him and Dixie when they became UKC Champions. We are truely blessed that in limited showing he has both of his required AKC majors and is so close to being a finished AKC Champion. It is a treat to know that each of us have had the fun of watching him take a Major. What a way for Kim to start and to win a Major. Taking a long vacation this fall has not slowed him down a bit. Ransom will be her next AKC project in the ring.
Tomorrow is another day and we have to think positive and will. Buster is a nice dog and still young. He struts his stuff at the shows and says hey look at me. He is a cocky little fart with a lot of attitude. He has won against older dogs with mature coats and will do so again. He will only get better as he gets older. I am thrilled at what he has accomplished and only 18 months old. All said it is a great way to start the new year-and a step in the right direction- he is closer to his AKC title. There are many dogs out there much older who still have no points towards their titles- so I will not complain. We have done fantastic. Spring is just around the corner and then it will be time to go for the International Titles on all the boys. |
