So sorry about his fall, sounds like he has excellent Dr.s. Prayers for complete healing.
I had low back fusion many years ago, they took bone from my hip for the fusion, no problem of rejection. At that time my Orthopedic and Neuro Surgeons preferred to do this way as they said less chance of any problem. The worst part for me was being flat for six weeks and not being able to turn or move about, and had to be log turned by nurses frequently. Was in a body brace for a year afterwards. I hear things are more advanced now and less recovery time.
Prayers for him to be back doing all that he wants to soon.Will watch For update.
