When I cut things out I put EVERYTHING for a project in a gal ziplock (it can be used over again),I can add any special idea notes to the bag as well. This way I can lay everything out and cut out for an entire day and then sew when life allows. You can even stack the project bags on a shelf. I can always see quickly what I have so I dont purchase what I dont need. I also keep my patterns (about 40yrs worth) in a file cabinet (craft, doggie, childrens, mens).
This would be perfect for the tips list!

As for ideas, I can kill a whole day doing nothing but drooling over images on Pinterest. Just type in sewing rooms or craft storage- but don't say I didn't warn you!
