Default Help, please! Yorkie with kidney stones and disoriented

Two weekends ago (04/15/2012), we took our 4 year old Yorkie to vet when we noticed he was having trouble urinating and seemed to be in a considerable amount of pain. After a series of urine tests, blood tests, x-rays, and sonograms, we discovered that Winston has a couple of tiny kidney stones. They prescribed a muscle relaxer, pain killer, and an antibiotic to help with inflammation. We brought Winston home, he began urinating with ease, but was having trouble walking and became increasingly disoriented. We were really concerned and contacted the vet several times when it became apparent that Winston was having sight issues and unresponsive to our commands. Even when he was hurting, he didn't have the orientation issues till he began taking medicine. We were advised to stop the muscle relaxer and pain medicine on Saturday (04/21/2012). Sunday morning (04/22/2012), Winston was more responsive and by that evening showed increase signs of energy, more responsive, and more like himself, but still a little trouble walking/running, but was navigating much better. This morning he seems to have regressed, was completely unresponsive to commands, crying, and falling over every time he stood. We went back to the vet, and after spending all day there and running blood and urine tests again, they said they are not sure what is going on, but believe he is just having a sever reaction to the medicine. He was given a new antibiotic, and sent home for monitoring. All of his blood work, urine tests, and x-rays haven't shown anything else to be wrong, i.e no bacterial infections or swelling around the spine or brain. He has only been home a few hours, and the new medicine has only been in his system since around 6pm, but he is not improving. Has anyone encountered this before? Any ideas or suggestions? We are completely lost and would appreciate any help.
