They said they will take the bone from his hip. We are doing this in Rochester Minnesots and do believe he has a great surgeon. They are also bringing in another surgeon to try to see what they can do with his big toe. The surgeon in our town went through a main vein (another long story). Not sure if that was the cause or both bones being crushed anyways his big toe will not straighten out. No promises they can fix it but hoping they can. Worried it will rub in a shoe or boot if they can not get it fixed. They were suppose to call this afternoon with when they will do the surgery next week. But did not
