yes the vet said she was unsure what the dark spot was. she did assure me that it was not cancerous as there would have been other clues that would lead to that.
they also took out blood and ran some heart worm tests. everything came back negative so he's in good shape.
the vet told me she would be consulting another vet, our main vet, on what the spot could be.
