Feeding any kind of dog food is a leading cause of dry skin. You can add 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil to the food twice a day. You can also use Omega 3 & 6 (about 6 drops twice daily) and even feed sardines packed in water, or salmon.
Also be sure to use a watered down shampoo (maybe one with an oatmeal base) and rinse and rinse and rinse, then use a good conditioner. |
