The general rule of thumb is if the store sells food you can't take the dog in even in a stroller. Something about health issues
I've heard lately that Home Depot & Lowes have now decided no dogs allowed too. If in doubt, ask, I'm sure it won't take long to find out which stores/shops allow it & which don't.
