My Yorkie, Lola lives in Oakland County MI and we also visit central Long Island a lot. I would love to have fun meetups, park dates or walks with others living in those areas. I keep checking the YT regional sections but they seem to be pretty inactive or mostly post about breeders, groomers and vets. I am not sure that all the members even realize we have regional sections here.

A lot of members must be concerned about privacy because they don't put where they live or even just the area they live in on their profile, so that does not help either.

The weather is getting nice here for us in the colder states, so this is the perfect time. So if you are interested in meeting other YTalkers perhaps you can post here and then maybe start something in your regional section.
