Yes, Miles does not have access to anything I don't want him to get at - no unsupervised room visits, I tell him . If I am not in the room there is no need for him to be there. When I am not home he is fenced in until I return. A. I don't want him to get into anything and get hurt while I am not home to help him and B. I don't want him to tear my house up while I am gone.

When Miles was neutered, I stayed home with him until it was time to remove the e-collar. What if the collar got stuck on the fence somehow and he suffocated to death??? Not worth the risk!!!
