I can only imagine what you are going through and am so sorry to read this happened to your little dear one. It scares me to death to think that something like this can happen in a heartbeat. What time of day was it? We've had reports of coyotes coming out nights here where I live & I worry so when I take Tibbe out - especially nights! But I stand on the porch or back in the Utility Porch and unless I had a gun, how can one stop this? This scares me so. I am sure hopeful that you are going to get some grief counseling if you need it, as these circumstances of seeing your baby taken before your eyes & then finding her little remains have got to be so damaging and horrific.
