It's not impossible that it is the harness, but I doubt it because as you said, it would probably be both sides of her chest -- and I'm thinking the way my guys pull and jerk when they want to attack a squirrel or passing motorcycle, they would have bruised by now.

...Sophia is pretty good with walking on the harness, she doesn't pull all that much.
I will be staring at Sophia and her red marks all day. I'm going to try to get a better picture when everyone decides its time to wake up.... it's noon. sheesh!
