I used to occasionally feed Tibbe scraps of meat but after his 4th year of life, he had some days of not eating and it worried me that there was something about the way the meat was prepared or seasoned with that was making his G-I tract unhappy so I quit giving him anything but his food - and he started back to eating his food every day, pretty much the same amount every day. I would stop any scraps of anything extra and feed only his dog food for 3 weeks and see what happens.
