Default Our Yorkie lifts her right rear leg at times when walking

This is my very first post. I would like to say hello to you all.

We have a one year old Yorkie, she is very active but as of late and it started with her left year leg some time ago that she would lift it up and down when walking or running. She stopped doing the lifting of the left rear leg but is now doing it with the right rear leg. She does not leave it up long, she puts her leg back down and away she goes. One thing I have noticed is that she will go down to the basement but will not come back up without carrying her. At the time she was lifting her left rear leg we had her to the vet for her annual check up etc and I mentioned to him of what she was doing and he stated that "her knee could he going in and out and if it continued he could give her some anti inflamatory pills."
She seems to have no pain, her nails are clipped properly and to the correct length, the pads of her feet appear to be OK. If anyone has experienced this condition I would love to hear from you.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
