Tripling the 8 week weight or doubling the 12 week weight, gives you a rough estimate of how big a yorkie will be, but it's just that...an estimate. They only way to guarantee adult weight is to buy an older dog.

Red leg yorkies are often used in breeding to retain a stronger colour in the coat.

Many of us got our yorkies before 12 weeks and they're just fine.
