We syringe fed Shelby, slowly they will lap up the water, and soft food we had her on science diet the vet can recommend it, or just soak her dry kiddle mash up well and you can syringe feed her that.

Regarding the bowels she will poop when she cant hold it any more, do you have anyone that can stay with her while your at work, she has to be kept quiet, away from the other dogs, given frequent water, cleaned in her private parts, and from bowel movement.

What meds did they send you home with? steroids? prednisone, pain meds?

The neck brace is compressing her neck from being moved downward, and they have a hard time eating and drinking, but that is where you come in and syringe feed her.

Thank you, i am going to call. Nope, it is just me and my mom. When she doesn't work she can help but sometimes has things to do. My bf also works like everyday so he's out of the question. And my other fam, like my bro live 30 min away from me. i was thinking if i can maybe hire someone for when both me and my mom are working but i don't knw how much that would be, i guess i'm going to have to look into it.
