Hey guys! I don't know about your Yorkie, but Katie Scarlett adores sitting on the window sill in our den (aka Man Cave...LOL). Our couch has a chaise lounge that sticks out from it. Is is set up next to the window and I put a pillow propped up between the couch and window sill so she can walk right across. She doesn't jump up/down from there. I raise the window a bit on nice days (it has a screen on it so she cannot jump out) and she will sit there for hours listening to the birds, watching cars/people go by. She just loves it. But I was noticing today she was having a hard time getting comfortable. She has gotten a little bigger since she first started hopping up on the window sill. I got to thinking...
I wonder if I could make her a custom made pillow for the window seal? Like one that would run the entire length of the window sill. She lays in many different spots up there. She doesn't seem to have a preference. I was thinking I could take some leftover fabric from a project or get new and make a basic rectangular pillow. What do you think? And what do I stuff it with? I've never made a pillow before. I know that is basic and I'm sure I could do it, but what type of stuffing? I am thinking this would need to either be washable or have a removable cover so I could wash just the fabric part on the outside.
Any ideas? Thanks guys!
