 Needing more advice....
I'm a "newbie", I've posted on the "re-homing" thread and this one about George who I've acquired following his owner's untimely death three weeks ago. I am searching for a forever home for him (unless he and my Stella work things out) but in the meantime I have a few questions for you seasoned Yorkie parents.
1) How much should he eat? Sometimes he does great, other times he picks. I've read a lot about this breed recently- I had no knowledge prior- and am concerned about low blood sugar. My Stella eats three times a day- small portions but it's gone in 2 minutes!!!
2) How should I care for the tear stained fur around the eyes? I see so many of your beautiful dogs and they don't have stains.
3) Bathing in between grooming- plus grooming schedule?
I really know nothing and want to do what's best for George. Any advice is most welcome, even if you think I should already know it- no offense will be taken. The input and support I received thus far has TRULY been a Godsend!!! |
