I just hope everyone is happy with their pets no matter what size they end up. If people want a small dog, 5lbs or under, there is just no way to be sure that is what you will get. Even if the mom and dad are small they can still have babies that end up bigger. If you buy a puppy from someone who has been consistently producing puppies that mature at around 5 to 7 pounds then you have a better chance of having a dog that matures at that size. Otherwise it is just a gamble. So many people are buying puppies from greeders that say one thing but produce something all together different. Even those fancy internet ads that you see that say they are selling puppies that will be 2.5lbs are just a scam. They are puppy mills and they know there is no way you can get them for selling you a dog that is much bigger than what they promised you. They will be glad to take your money though and if they can get $800.00 or $3500.00 they grab it.
