 :cry: RIP Sweet Penny
We had to say goodbye to our beloved pet dachshund this morning:
Almost 15 years ago, on the last day of school, the cutest little puppy with long flappy ears came running right up to me. Since that time she has been a constant and loyal companion. She has watched me knit so many stitches, comforted me when I was sad, played with me when I was happy. She has been loving and kind to all of my family and friends, sleeping with them when they would let her and keeping us entertained with her hilarious imitations of 'Bat Dog'. She has been a faithful guardian, letting me know when anything including dangerous leaves were blowing through my yard. Today, she left this world and her loving family behind. My heart is broken, but I know she will not suffer anymore. RIP my sweet Penny!!! |
