None required me staying at home all day, waking up every 4 hours at night or doing anything super special as if they were "spacial care" puppies
Just making sure they eat at least 4 times a day was enough.
I do understand that in the US its practiclly mandatory, but in a place where taking a 6 week old puppy home is the norm,I just think that if it were so dangerous and complicated for a puppy to go home at that age,it wouldent be something so many countries/breeders do.They would have figured out that itīs not ok by now I think

I visited Bella and Milo every chance I had whilst they were with thier breeder, and once they weaned at 5 weeks old, they only ate damp kibble 3 times a day and slept most of the time between that.Even after they came home at 6 weeks old, they didnt eat much more than that even when I left their food out 24/7 and offered it to them alot more than that.
Itīs not that complicated
Well I cant speak for what is the norm for other country's but it is proven that small breed dogs do better when left with there mom until 12 weeks old because they are still learning things. The Yorkshire Terrier Club of American also says that's the age they should be when allowed to be taken to there new home. I would imagine all small breed puppies no matter what country they are in should still be left with there mom until 12 weeks whether its the norm or not its better for them. Many many breeders want to sell there pups as soon as they can so they can make the money and don't really care about the puppies. In America we have puppy mills and bad breeders and one sign of that is not keeping the pups until 12 weeks. If your a good breeder who has done there research then you know the benefits of a pup being with there mom until 12 weeks and have done the research. A pup younger then 12 weeks is also more likely to get hyperglycemia which will kill the pup if not taken care of so leaving the pup why you go to work all day when its 6 weeks old and even if you leave food you could come back to a dead pup is not a good idea.
