Default Update...Thank you all

Well the pups survived their 6th night....apparently one of them was having convulsions in the middle of the night but managed to survive. I truly believe this was due to all your prayers....I believe in the power of prayer. Well she was devastated...as you can imagine...from the thought of loosing yet another one...she took the two babies to the breeder that helped her mate her little Tinky and it turns out the breeder had a Yorkie that just had some babies....the breeder tried to introduce the two babies to the Yorkie and Thank God! the Yorkie took to them like they were her babies!!!!! This is awesome...the Yorkie will act as a surrogate mother until they are strong enough....The breeder assured her that they will be safe with her and her Yorkie and she doesn't have to worry no longer....Let's keep on praying though because the vet said it takes a good 2 weeks for them to be out of the woods.

I agree with what some of your are saying...as sad is this story is it's a good example of how delicate breeding can be. My neighbor did not breed her dog to make money...she simply wanted her Tinky to have some offsprings...she planned on spaying her after she had her first litter. However this sad story as tragic as it is....is an excellent example for those people that want to breed their dog to make a quick buck or two...They are worth lot's of money...but you have so much to loose if it goes wrong....again these were never her intentions (to make money) but it's still a good example why certain things should be left to professionals with experience. I spayed my little baby as soon as she was old enough.

I don't believe that having a Cesarian was a smart thing....we should let nature take it's course....if some of the babies would have died at birth then that was the natural thing to happen...I definetly believe that poor Tinky was confused and did not know that the pups were hers.

Please keep on praying because they are not out of the woods yet....however I believe we have a greater possibility now that an Angel of a Yorkie decided to take the two babies under her wing.

Will keep you posted.
