Smaller than 3 lbs?? WOW!! You are right it is a shame that breeders are focusing on size rather than the betterment of the breed. I read somewhere that some rather unscrupulous breeders will sometimes have c-sections given to poor Yorkie mommies prematurely in order to produce tiny "teacup" Yorkie puppies. Very sad and sick indeed. I was horrified when I read this. When Yorkies are puppies, not fully grown, they are sweet tiny little bundles of joy; however I would want them to grow some and be healthy and hearty.
