When a puppy (especially small breeds) havent eaten in a while,or they get stressed,affraid etc,they can get lethargic,which is a sign of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

This is what the honey (or Kayro syrup or Nutrical) comes in.

We cant get Kayro syrup or Nutrical here,so we were told to use honey which has the exact same effect.Just a small amount on our finger will be enough to get your pup back to normal if this happens.
That doesnt permanently fix the problem though,your puppy has to eat regularly to prevent it because its also not good to be giving them honey all the time
